Visit the new viewpoint at Praca do Comercio(Terreiro do Paco), Lisbon Downtown.

The top of the Arch of Augusta Street, which offers a unique panoramic view over the city of Lisbon, can be played along with the hall vaults housing the existing machinery of the clock there. But not everyone can do it, since to rise to this salon and to the viewpoint is necessary to overcome the two flights of stairs that rise beyond the elevator.

The entrance to the monument is made by Augusta Street, through a small door right next to the arch. The ticket, which costs 2.5 euros, ensures access to the elevator that takes visitors up to the top floor. After almost one must climb 30 steps to reach the room where the clock is, which in 1941 replaced the original engine. This space was placed in a panel which sets forth the key moments of the story arc, since it began to be thought of in 1759 until its completion in 1875.

The Garden of São Pedro de Alcântara is a garden located in Lisbon, in the parish of Incarnation.
Is located at Rua de São Pedro de Alcântara, near Bairro Alto. The garden has a small pond and a gazebo, which offers a magnificent view over the east of Lisbon sighting is part of the Baixa district and the south bank of the Tagus river.
There is a map in tiles along the balustrade, which helps to identify some sites of Lisbon. The panorama extends from the walls of Castelo São Jorge surrounded by trees and Lisbon Cathedral (XII century), in the hills to the southwest, to the Penha Church of eighteenth-century France, northwest. Also visible is the large complex of Grace Church, while São Vicente de Fora is recognizable by symmetrical towers around the white facade.
Banks and the shadows of the trees make a very nice viewpoint. To get to the viewpoint can choose to climb the Walk of Glory and then climb the Glória funicular that leaves right near the gazebo.
In the garden, the monument authored by Costa Motta (uncle), erected in 1904, Eduardo Coelho is the founder of the newspaper Diário de Notícias, beneath it a ardina touts the famous newspaper.
The view is more impressive at sunset and at night, when the Castle and Cathedral are illuminated, and the gazebo is a popular meeting point for young weekenders.

The statue of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro existing in Brazil, inspired, in 1934, during a visit to that city, the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon, then Manuel Gonçalves Cerejeira, to build a similar monument in Lisbon.

The monument to Christ the King was also built in fulfillment of a vow made by the Portuguese episcopate gathered at Fatima on April 20, 1940, asking God to rid Portugal to participate in World War II.

The cape is located within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, 42 kilometres northwest of the urbanized area of Lisbon and 18 kilometres northwest of Sintra. Its location (38°47′N 9°30′W) is inscribed on a stone plaque, located on a monument at the site.

The western coast is a mixture of sand beaches and rocky cliff promontories: around Cabo da Roca, cliffs are more than 100 metres in height, and cut into crystalline rocks, composed of strongly folded and faulted sedimentary units. These forms are disturbed by dikes and small beaches. This promontory of “high” beaches is the extreme western immersion of the ancient eruptive Sintra massif, as evident from the rose-coloured granite in the north and syenite of the Ribeira do Louriçal in the south. In the vicinity of the Cape, there are geomorphological examples of gabbro-diorite, volcanic breccia, and granite.

Part of the granite formations show evidence of strong coastal erosion, while in other areas there are limestone deposits embedded in the granite.

Much of the vegetation in this cape are low-lying and adapted to saltwater and windy conditions. Once home to a variety of plant life, Cabo da Roca has been overrun with the invasive plant species Carpobrotus edulis. This creeping, mat-forming plant, a member of the Aizoaceae succulent family, was introduced as ground cover by local residents several decades ago, but now covers much of the arable land on Cabo da Roca.

Many migratory and marine birds roost temporarily along the cliffs and protected coves of the coastal area.
